“ WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW. I went here 2 days ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it yet. I’m Panamanian and this Peruvian restaurant is VERY RICH IN FLAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I felt so welcomed, and they were so kind, I can’t wait to visit again. I can’t say it enough.... Wow. I might sound corny but..thank you for existing. I’m a foodie so excuse my zeal but this place was THAT good. Everything. Everything. Everything. This place was so good that I thought about gate keeping pero I can’t. TRY THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ”
“ FLAVORS is the perfect word to use when describing Peruvian FLAVORS dishes! Everything was jam packed with flavor. Meats, sauces, verde spegetti, shrimp fried rice, even the side salad has tons of fresh flavors. Fresh food made to order. Staff were very helpful and informative on the dishes they serve. Our waitress gave us excellent recommendations and the portions were just right. We love to take leftovers for home. The purple juice and Maduros are a must!!! Can't wait to go back to this beautiful and vibrant establishment. ”
“ The food is excellent. My suggestion is to try the Papa Rellena for appetizer and the Tacu Tacu but the one without the seafood sauce - the one with the regular sauce and you won't be disappointed. They are a family-owned restaurant, but have only been open for 2 years, and they are new to the restaurant business so your feedback to them would be greatly appreciated. It's a casual restaurant so if you are expecting to be whisked away on a fancy date, with atmosphere being of utmost importance, this isn't the place for you, but if you want to just go somewhere, where you will have good food, then this is it. I am craving the Tacu Tacu as we speak! Mmmmmm,,,,the rice, so good. I went on here on a date with a gentleman who was nice enough to pick up the bill, so I'm not sure how much everything came to, but he had a couple of beers, I had this mango concoction which was quite tasty , 2 appetizers and we split the Tacu-Tacu and thank god we did since it was quite large! At the end of the meal it was quite endearing that we were able to speak to the family who told us about how they got started in this business. I would suggest trying this place especially if you have never tried Peruvian food. ”
“ I love Peruvian food so it’s always great to find new spots and try their food. I was delighted with their food, the Papa Rellena was crispy and it fell home made. Our entries were just as good. The lomo saltado, arroz chaufa and arroz con mariscos (bar none the best). Definitely recommend bringing your family here. Lived their authentic decorations, music and service. ”
“ OMG for my understanding is a new restaurant to the community. When you look at the outside is extremely deceiving; even the entrance to the place. Once you open the door to the actual restaurant is another feeling. MUSIC going loud but good volume to have a conversation. The owner Diana Lopez has her own table near the bar where she enjoys her meal and at the same time knows what’s going on making sure everyone has a good time and assisting on been everyone’s photographer. She walked to ea table and interacted with her customers. Good touch for public relations. The wait for service was small. I feel they are still getting adjust to the demands and the amount of customers coming in at the same time. My husband and I did not mind. We enjoyed observing the details on the walls from beautiful Peru. The colorful decorative throughout the restaurant gives it a different and happy vibe. THE BATHROOM was so clean!!!! I am always keeping an eye if the trash can is overloaded, papers hanging out the can or on the floor... not here. THE FOOD was so amazing and tasty! Out least favorite was the Pescado a lo macho. Everything else was delicious to our taste buds! Ceviche, Chorros a la Chala a, Chaufa Mariscos, yuca frita. Their home made deserts also good, lemon pie and tres leches! THE SURPRISE!! The dance. BAILE TIPICO de la selva. This talented & young lady unexpectedly came to the floor and we enjoyed a beautiful dance with a unique music from that part of Peru jungle. This was so unexpected and the highlight of our night. PARKING on the street! Thank you Diana for an amazing night ”
“ Very heart warming place. Owners even came up to us & said hello. Food was really good & service was amazing. Definitely coming back again. My husband is Peruvian & he loved it here. Would recommend for anyone who wants to try south american food which is one of the best in the world. ”
“ My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Peruvian Flavors for Union Township (in Union County), our 120th town. One of the best things about New Jersey is that we have cuisines & flavors from all over the world. FLAVORS are what we got when we made a random pick to drop in on this place one weeknight after work! It started off trying a glass of Chica Morada, which is a Peruvian drink made from purple corn. We should have gone straight to a jarra (pitcher) because it was that good. The Ceviche Mixto was phenomenal as a starter. For entrees, we had the Pollo Saltado and Bistec a lo Pobre. Both were on point, and full of flavor. The interior of the restaurant is well decorated with traditional art, colors, and symbols of Peru. Service was great, and the place has a fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend! ”
“ If you like authentic Peruvian food then this is the place to go. There are many Peruvian restaurants but none are like Peruvian Flavors. Everything is made fresh by chefs from Peru! I highly recommend trying the Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice), Lomo Saltado (steak with rice and fries), and the ceviche (raw fish marinated in lemon juice). This is a great family owned business and the owners are very welcoming and friendly (Ask for Diana). ”
